Rambo is the story Vietnam veteran John Rambo who has broken ties from the world because of the pain and death he’s experiences in his life. Now living in Thailand, he spends his time capturing snakes for local entertainers, and driving locals down river in his military PT boat. The story revolves around a group of Christian missionaries who seek out Rambo to fairy them to Burma. For over fifty years, Burma has been a war zone. The people are suffering without basic medicine or food. After some encouragement from Sara, one of the groups leaders, Rambo accepts the offer. When the missionaries come up missing Rambo becomes their only Hope.
In the end Rambo is a top tear action flick filled with not only gunfire and explosions but also a positive message about living with purpose in your life. Stallone who both wrote and directed the film creates from the very beginning a man who is without a doubt heroic and capable. The story sucks you in from the get-go and holds you in suspense for the entire ride and ends with a profound realization of the human condition.
