The weekend of July 27th Divorce The World will be hosting the 1st annual Exodus Showcase Animation Festival. For three days we will be exploring the world of animation. There will be over 200 exhibits covering the history of animation from the A 5,000 year old bowl found in Iran that has five images of a jumping goat painted along it’s sides to A Chinese zoetrope-type device, invented in 180 AD. This trip will end with the latest in animation technology. You will experiance animation as found in movies, animated features and video games.
Jason Stansell
Our guest speaker Jason Stansell has been working on big budget Hollywood films since 2007. He will recap his animation experiances and talk about how he got to where he is in life.

Contests
Cosplay Competition
The cosplay competition will be held on Sunday July 29th 2012 and will be open entry. There will be 3 prizes awarded for the cosplay competition. One for best animated character costume, one for best depiction of a character (including live action characters and animated) and one for most original costume.
Animation Awards and Submission Details
We are looking for the brightest and best of Michigan’s animation community. There will be 6 awards for animation given out durring the festival. The entries are not category specific and therefore any piece you submit may be selected for any award we see fit. (Best Comedy, Choice Stop Motion, Best Flip Book, Fan Favorite, Most Creative, Visually Stunning)
